Our founders, Jim and Jeanene Meisser, each have worked in banking for more than a quarter of a century, Jim on the regulatory side and Jeanene on the operations side.

We’re especially inspired by Jeanene’s grandfather, Walter Vartan, an Armenian who immigrated to the United States in 1915. In the midst of the Depression, Vartan started Lake Shore Photo Engraving – a business whose success continued into the next generation.

Today, Lake Shore Wisconsin Corporation seeks to carry on the entrepreneurial tradition by establishing Lake Shore Bank. We’re working with potential investors to raise $20 million in start-up capital for the bank, which we plan to open later this year, subject to receipt of all regulatory approvals.
